Singer-songwriter and guitarist Rosie Frater-Taylor is looking forward to her appearance in the series “Nigel Williams & Jazz FM present”, when she will be singing/playing a live session – and in conversation with Jazz FM’s finest, Nigel Williams, for a live broadcast.

Rosie Frater-Taylor writes: Nigel has been a long time supporter of mine so it really is my pleasure to be part of his “Nigel Presents” series at the sublime Pheasantry in Chelsea. He’s a Jazz FM icon after all! I mean, he’s just interviewed two idols of mine : Norah Jones and Jacob Collier.

The show will be broadcast live on radio and involves two sets of music with a chat with Nigel in between. We’ll dive deep into the genesis of my new record “Featherweight”, my love of genre bending jazz, folk, rock & soul… We’ll chat about my influences, guitar playing and I’m sure there will be several good stories and secrets revealed!

It’s a very intimate venue so I’ve opted to do an up close and personal stripped back set with my  backing vocalists Azz and Verushka (awesome artists in their own right by the way!). It’s a line-up I’ve longed to perform in for a while. I love writing vocal harmonies and this is the perfect configuration to hear some of those detailed parts. We’re going to play tracks from all three of my albums and some choice covers, John Martyn’s ‘Solid Air’ is on the list so far which you may have heard on rotation on the Jazz FM A-List!

I’m really looking forward to this one.
