Jazz Winners at the 2022 Grammys

The winners in the four jazz categories were: Chick Corea’s Akoustic Band, Esperanza Spalding, Ron Carter/Jack DeJohnette/Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Eliane Elias/Chick Corea/Chucho Valdés and the Christian McBride Big Band. Chick Corea’s two posthumous wins take him to 27 Grammy wins and into joint fourth place with Alison Krauss in the all-time winners chart..after Georg Solti (31), Beyonce and Quincy Jones (both 28).

  1. Unless it is posted elsewhere you forgot LYLE MAYS who was awarded the a Grammy for Best Instrumental Composition for his last recorded work “Eberhard”.
