Jazz Nominations for the 2022 Grammys

Nominations in the eighty-six categories of the 2022 Grammys were announced on 23 November

The ceremony is on 31 January 2022 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and will be streamed live.

The main name from is Jon Batiste, who is nominated for no fewer than eleven Grammys. Tony Bennett is nominated for five. We list the five jazz categories, and jazz and jazz-releated musicians in the running in other categories

  1. Looks like a great wide range of people! However, it looks like you guys are missing Bill O’Connell as an arranger of the tune “Chopsticks” from Richard Baratta’s album under the category “Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella.” I’m sure it would be a great addition to your post!
