Georgia Mancio says: “I’m happy to announce a short UK tour for Alan Broadbent and me, in celebration of a decade of partnership.”
The final gigs of the tour will be a residency at The Pheasantry in Chelsea, over the closing weekend of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
The press release states: “In celebration of a decade of their globally acclaimed collaboration, double-Grammy-winning jazz pianist / composer Alan Broadbent (Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, Pat Metheny…) and multi-award-winning vocalist / lyricist Georgia Mancio (Kate Williams, ReVoice! Festival, Ian Shaw…), announce six UK dates, 14-19 November.
Reuniting for the first time in person since 2019, they are joined by long-term collaborators bassist / producer Andrew Cleyndert and drummer Dave Ohm, to play the following dates :
- Dorking’s Watermill Jazz (14 Nov)
- Southampton’s Concorde Club (15 Nov)
- Luton’s The Bear (16 Nov).
- The tour culminates in a residency at The Pheasantry on the final weekend of the EFG London Jazz Festival (17,18,19 Nov): an apt return to the scene of only their second appearance together, back in 2013
