One of UKJN’s regular contributors Andrew Cartmel was script editor of Doctor Who, and has written a series of crime novels about the “Vinyl Detective”. He (and his cat Jade) were the stars of LJN’s MOST SUCCESSFUL PODCAST. Andrew is also a playwright and his new play Glacier Lake will be premiered from 3 May to 8 May at OSO Arts Centre by Barnes Pond.

A beautiful young singer-songwriter, a lonely lake house, a secret surfacing… Thursday Theatre presents Glacier Lake, a cool thriller of hot topicality. Directed by Conrad Blakemore. With Sadie Pepperrell, Colin Hill, Jamie Hutchins.

Sandy always loved the lake house. After her mother died it became a special retreat for her and her father Otto. Their safe, secret place. But now a young man called Daniel has arrived, with secrets of his own, and troubles to share. These cold mountain waters will show Sandy, Daniel and Otto their reflections all too clearly. And they’re deep enough to drown in…

An intimate brooding suspense drama in the tradition of Deathtrap and Wait Until Dark, with an environmental sting in its tail.
